Meet Jon D. Slager, Attorney at Law

Education & Background

Jon D. Slager graduated from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Administrations and Psychology. 

Following his graduation from MTSU in 2008, Mr. Slager enrolled in law school at the Nashville School of Law (NSL). Mr. Slager graduated from NSL in May 2012 and successfully passed the Tennessee Bar Exam on his first attempt. Mr. Slager has been licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee since October 2012.

Experience & Success

While attending MTSU, Mr. Slager worked full time in law enforcement as a P.O.S.T. Certified police officer, charged with the duties of investigating crimes ranging from minor traffic offenses to murder, making arrests in those cases, and pursuing them until their finality. While working in law enforcement, Mr. Slager attended and successfully completed classes in interview and interrogation techniques as well as narcotic investigations under the direction of state and federal agencies.

Since becoming licensed, Mr. Slager has been the attorney of record in felony cases, including First Degree Murder, Rape, Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, Sell/Manufacture of Drugs, Driving Under the Influence, Probation Violations, and many more.
